Huge Success for GTL DigiSkills Seminars

Last week the GUNT Technology Team had an amazing time touring the country. We successfully delivered our free DigiSkills and Industry 4.0 seminars to engineering educators from various colleges and universities.

Together we effectively provided five seminars across five days where our guests learned more about our new DigiSkills teaching concept. With our unique model, we combine traditional learning content with the latest digital media.

Our seminar covered Didactic Concept, GUNT DigiSkills, Augmented Reality and Lab experiments for Engineering Fundamentals.

Using the HM 250 for fluid mechanics, WL 110 heat exchangers and the ET 380 refrigeration cycle, we demonstrated how experiments can even be conducted remotely using the GUNT Media Centre.

Based on feedback from our delegates, the Augmented Reality topic was the star of the show. Modern learning content, such as augmented reality, increases motivation and readiness to learn.

The use of augmented reality as an immersive experience in the classroom creates an engaging lesson structure. A fun way to handle complex systems, components and functions.

Other queries featured the MT120, MT121 and MT122 (Spur Gear, Mitre Gear and Planetary Gear assembly exercises).

Overall the UK team found this event to be a huge success, and we look forward to hosting further events in 2024.
